where does the time go?

Our nearly-5-month-old is looking sorta strawberry blonde these days! The biggest news lately is that he's sleeping MUCH better and so are we (hallelujah, dudes), thanks to the sage advice of Dr. Michel Cohen and my friends Megan, Amy, and Celia. After almost two months of hourly waking to nurse, we decided August needed to learn to soothe himself to sleep. He's a much happier baby as a result and nothing could make us happier than that.

Aug went for his 4 month well baby checkup last week and he's definitely tall (like 90th percentile tall) but kinda skinny at just over 14 lbs. He's doing great, growing so quickly and laughing lots.

Hi Heather!

This is funny - Jude is way tall too! In the 90-something percentile!
I was wondering actually if you could let me know how you've worked with Augie to help him to sleep better? Jude wakes frequently to nurse as well and I need to find a better way I think. Please send your sage wisdom my way (-:
Augie is beautiful by the way. He's really coming into his own, isn't he? His face just gets more and more expressive as the days go by, and I love his noises! They are a lot like Jude's (-:
Take care!

Oliver is 98th percentile for height and 90th for weight..chunky lil' monkey. I would also like to request your secrets for getting baby to sleep. He is nearly 9 months and he wakes at 10, usually aound 12:30, 2:30, 5 and then up at 7. Momma is exhausted.
