17 days and counting

The last few weeks of pregnancy make damn sure that you're in so much discomfort that you're ready & willing to go into hours of hard labor at the drop of a hat. Eager, in fact. Fakey fake Braxton-Hicks contractions are the biggest teases in the world (yesss...nope...yes...no), you get 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night, your hips ache, you pee every hour, your feet are swollen and sore, walking is exhausting, getting out of bed hurts, and you feel sort of permanently dazed. Happily, though.

Such a beautiful rainbow dress! I bet baby is smiling on the inside, even if he doesn't quite know why.

this might sound a bit funny, but I'd swap places with you in a heartbeat... I just want to meet the little one NOW (of course not RIGHT now, that would be very baaaaad). love love love the dress, where did you get it?

i hear ya, famapa. i really am happy to be where we're at and loving life despite the aches and pains!

dress is a vintage 80's sun dress from a thrift store. i've scored some of my fave preg dresses in little old shops.

'80's' and 'Vintage' together just sound so wrong... *sigh*

YAY! ALMOST HERE! CAN'T WAIT. MY LOVE TO THE DADDY TOO! Will you tell chris that I think of him as well? I haven't talked to or written him in AGES.
